Is your MCS-150 Information Current?

Your MCS-150 information shall be updated every two years, based on the schedule 49 CFR 390.19.  It is a good idea to review and update your information any time you have changes to your insurance or business operations.  It should also be known that the CSA calculations use the number of unites operated and the reported mileage data from the MCS-150 in the calculations for unsafe driving and crash basics.  Under reporting the number of vehicles operated or under reporting mileage may result in higher CSA scores.

Motor Carriers should immediately update the MCS-150 with your 2011 data to ensure the FMCSA is using the most accurate data available to calculate your CSA scores.  To review your current information go to www.safersys.org and select "Company Snapshot" link.
